Two Saudi Arabian oil tankers in the United Arab Emirates underwent significant damage in the course of a “sabotage attack”, according to Saudi Arabian Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih. Few details have been released regarding the incident, which took place near the emirate of Fujairah and damaged two other ships in addition to the Saudi Arabian tankers. UAE officials report that there were no casualties from the attack and that operations at the Fujairah port were not affected and were continuing as normal.
