Talks between the United Kingdom’s Conservative Party and Labour Party over Brexit have ended without reaching a cross-party agreement. Discussions between the two parties had been taking place as a means of resolving the ongoing struggle to decide the manner in which the United Kingdom will leave the European Union. The end of the talks reduces the likelihood that the UK government will be able to decide what type of deal it would like to have with the EU after leaving the bloc.
The UK will remain a member of the EU until October 31. If a deal cannot be reached before then, and further delay is not granted to the UK, the UK will leave the European Union without a deal.
