Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will meet with South Korean President Moon Jae-in on his way to the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan. The Saudi government will convene with a South Korean economic delegation to bolster already robust energy ties between the two countries. Saudi Arabia is South Korea’s largest oil supplier and S-Oil, South Korea’s third-largest oil refiner, is wholly owned by state-owned Saudi Aramco. Riyadh is also looking to diversify its oil-dependent economy while Seoul hopes to sell its nuclear technology and win a bid to build several reactors in Saudi Arabia.
