Trending Theme: President Trump Begins UK State Visit

President Trump was welcomed by the Queen at Buckingham Palace at the beginning of a three-day state visit to the United Kingdom. He has already sparked controversy by calling the mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, a “stone cold loser”. President Trump is set to meet with UK Prime Minister Theresa May on Tuesday, where she will raise the issue of climate change and the US withdrawal from the Paris Agreement. The UK’s decision to grant 5G infrastructure contracts to Huawei will also be a point of contention. Over the weekend, Trump backed Boris Johnson to be the next Prime Minister after May steps down on June 7th.
