Demonstrators returned to the streets of several major Venezuelan cities, showing support for Juan Guido, the self-declared interim President of Venezuela. In addition, the demonstrators are demanding that Nicolas Maduro allow the entry of humanitarian aid into the country. Maduro has blocked the arrival of this humanitarian aid, calling it a poisonous ploy by the United States to undermine his presidency. A pro-Maduro counter-march is also planned for Venezuela’s capital, Caracas.
