Roughly 100 companies have opted to shift operations from Britain to the Netherlands amid ongoing Brexit uncertainty. Over 300 others are in the process of considering such plans. These companies aim to maintain offices within the EU in order to remain in the unified market. Their movements have already shifted thousands of jobs to the Netherlands, many of which relate to the media, IT, finance, and advertising industries. Other top destinations for such companies include France, Germany, Ireland, and Belgium. If British Prime Minister Boris Johnson carries through on his plans to leave the EU even if a deal has not been reached, then perhaps many more companies will choose to relocate elsewhere.
