
Africa’s most valuable company, Naspers, listed its international internet assets on Amsterdam’s stock exchange, becoming the largest consumer internet company in all of Europe. Naspers’ new company, called Prosus, was valued at $105 billion when listed on the stock exchange. The company’s shares increased roughly 30% on the first day of trading, making it the third most valuable company on the Euronext exchange. Prosus, the subsidiary of South African-based Naspers, is a global consumer internet group and now one of the largest technology investors in the world.
