The Israeli apartheid

Following Israel officially declaring itself a nation-state, mechanisms for apartheid will be increasingly visible. Israel has already suffered evidence of apartheid, such as with the widespread discrimination against Palestinians and it also struggles to deal with societal favoritism. A notable example would be with Mordechai Vanunu, a Moroccan Jew, who publicly exposed the clandestine Negev Nuclear Research Center and claimed societal discrimination on grounds of his North African heritage. The new nation-state declaration also has potentially powerful implications for other minority groups, including Christians.
