The state economy has already been in decline and recent moves to favor the inexperienced Berat Albayrak, who is moreover relative to the President, might forecast further economic woes for the country. Although Albayrak has experience as a CEO of Calik Holding, a prestigious company operating in multiple sectors, the position of Minister of Finance and Treasury might prove too challenging.
