Asymmetric Warfare in Yemen

June 22, 2018: Ansar Allah is conducting an asymmetric war against the Saudi-led coalition, making the seizure of Hodeidah much more difficult than anticipated. The coalition forces have has also recently been utilizing French Special Forces. As forecasted by Global Risk Intelligence earlier, the Battle for Hodeidah will determine power dynamics in the country, but Ansar Allah will undoubtedly be delivering heavy insurgency to areas it does not overtly control and Hodeidah will vivify such projections.
