Ansar Allah suffers losses in northwest and southeast of territory

Ansar Allah has suffered great losses to its territory in the past 24 hours. In the northeast, the Saudi-led coalition gained ground in the Hajjah Governorate, strategically controlling the Hiran Directorate and accessing highway routes through the governorate. Moreover victories were achieved in Al Luhayyah Governorate with an international highway linking Hajjah to Hodeidah coming under the control of the Saudi-led coalition. An ambush led by Ansar Al-Sharia, also known as Al Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula, in southeastern Al Bayda Governorate additionally incurred losses to Ansar Allah. The United States of America directed aerial strikes in the same area during counterterrorism operations. Despite losses in the northwest and southeast of Ansar Allah-controlled territory, the ebb and flow of asymmetric warfare is leading to yet another resurgence of violence across the country.
